Privacy
What HQO keeps about you and your shop, who can see it, and where it goes.
What we keep
Your email address and password (stored hashed), and everything you record in the app: sales, stock, suppliers and restocks. Nothing else: no location, no contacts, no advertising identifiers.
Where it is stored
In a Supabase database, protected so that each shop can read only its own records. The app is served by Vercel.
The AI briefings
The morning briefing and the weekly review are written by Claude, an AI model from Anthropic. To write one, HQO sends Anthropic a summary of your shop's figures for that day or week: takings, profit, payment methods, item names with units sold and revenue, items selling below cost, and items running low. It does not send your email address, password or any account details.
HQO checks each reply and throws away any figure the AI was not given. That catches invented numbers; it cannot tell whether a sentence built from real numbers is wise, so treat a briefing as a summary, not advice.
Anthropic processes these requests under its own commercial terms and privacy policy.
Who at HQO can see your shop
The two founders have view-only admin access to shop data, for support and to keep the service running. They cannot change your records. Access is not logged today.
Your choices
You can export your data from the app. To delete your account and everything in it, ask us and we will do it.
